After the XFL Folded
Two notable players that were big stars in the XFL made huge impacts in the NFL. Tommy Maddox won 'Comeback Player of the Year' Award. He is now the backup in Pittsburgh after one and half seasons as the starter. Rod Smart known as 'He Hate Me' in his XFL days, joined Edmonton of the CFL and than landed in Philadelphia with the Eagles. He is now a key player on the Carolina Panthers special teams.
